
On Tuesday 18 November, our Creative Director Victoria Tang-Owen delivered a seminar at Hong Kong Polytechnic University entitled “Scaling Craft – Creativity and Commerciality in Contemporary Fashion”.
The MA cohort includes students from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York and Institute Français de la Mode, Paris. Victoria took them through examples of her work as a designer and consultant including collaborations with Dior, Self-Portrait, HSBC, Condé Nast and Chinese womenswear brand La Koradior.

The students were particularly interested to hear how Victoria balances traditional crafts, the atelier relationship and storytelling with brands’ desire to launch commercially viable products that resonate with broad audiences.
