Cultural Connectors

Our client, Art-Bureau is an independent art advisory with offices in New York, London and Hong Kong. Art-Bureau provides a range of collector-driven services to refine and define clients’ collections. As part of its commitment to curating world-class art and collaborating with leading institutions, Art-Bureau curated Yuen Yeung, an exhibition of works by a broad sweep of renowned international contemporary artists such as Bruce Nauman, Andy Warhol, Günther Forg and Cassi Namoda and presented at K-11 Art Mall, Shanghai.

Identity & Meaning

Named after the popular Cantonese drink, a surprisingly harmonious mix of tea and coffee, the exhibition established an interactive bridge to promote cultural dialogue between mainland China and the international arts community. Our exhibition identity symbolised cultural mixing and the interaction of opposites and dualities. We achieved this through an emphasis on type, colour contrasts and visually compelling applications and layouts for marketing materials, exhibition collaterals, merchandise and spatial design. The project showcased our team’s ability to work across cultures, languages and geographies and deliver design that amplified our client’s messaging goals.
